Dorothy Hoskin “Dot” Albarado passed away at her home in Baton Rouge on Friday, September 13, 2019, at the age of

82. She was a native Buras, LA, a longtime resident of Plaquemine and current resident of Baton Rouge. Dot was a caregiver and homemaker. A visitation was held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 57805 Main Street, Plaquemine, on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, where a Mass of Christian Burial followed. Rev. Jason Palermo was the officiant. Interment: Grace Memorial Park. Dot is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald C. Albarado Sr. of Baton Rouge; three children and spouses, Donald C. Albarado Jr. and Frances Beverly Albarado of Baton Rouge, Phillip S. Albarado (fiancée Marlene Rhodus) of Prairieville and Abby Tate and husband James of Baton Rouge; six grandchildren, Donald C. Albarado III and wife Natessa, Kyle C. Babin, Jonathan Brian Albarado (Passion), Joshua Benjamin Albarado (Tiara), Patrick Tate, Rylee Tate; 4 great-grandchildren, Madison Albarado, Avery Albarado, Jaxon Albarado and Phillip Babin; a sister, Barbara Hoskin Blackwood and numerous nieces and nephews. Dot was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Marguerite Weber Hoskin; brother and wife, Raymond E. Hoskin and Joycelyn; brother-in-law, William C. Blackwood. Daughter of the late Antoine ‘Buster’ Cosse’ and Estelle Isidore Cosse’. Beloved wife of the late Earnell ‘Tu-Tu’ DeMolle. Devoted mother of Lynette (Brian) Harvey, Paulette (Alvin) Williams, Andrea (Eric) Sylve , Tori (late Brian) Etienne, Al (Latosha) Moliere Jr. her first grandson whom she raised as her own and the late Rodney DeMolle. Sister of Jimmy (Ailene) Cosse’ and the late Claude, Elliot and Evangela Cosse’. Grandmother of Russell (Lashawn) Roberson Sr., Gena DeMolle, Roger Moliere Jr., Roderick(Kim) Moliere Sr., Ryan (Ashley) Moliere, Ijanae Moliere, Travis DeMolle, Nakera DeMolle, Tyrell (Veronica) DeMolle Sr., Sheldon Sylve Sr., Dawn (Felix) Odaro. Jean Toups Krake passed away peacefully on September 18, 2019 at the age of 84. She is survived by her children, Terri Krake (Lora), Allen Krake (Lisa) along with 12 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Paul Von Krake and her youngest child, Dr. Patrick Raymond Krake. Jean was born in 1935, and raised in Baton Rouge La. In 1956, she married Paul Krake and, in the years, to follow, they literally travelled the world! They were adventurous, living in Indonesia for 5 years, then Saudi Arabia. They came back to the USA in 1972 and lived in Gretna. They bought property in Belle Chasse, and Jean was able to design her dream home where they lived for nearly 50 years. Cathy Violet Huff Madere passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the age of

68. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas J. Huff and Catherine Buras Huff; her sister Evelyn Warnken; and her brother, Clifton Huff. Cathy is the beloved wife of Albert “Al” J. Madere for 50 years. She is the loving mother of Eugene “Gene” Madere (Jamie) and Chad Madere (Judy). She is the devoted grandmother of Dylan, Tyler, Landin, Mia and Myles Madere. She is the cherished sister of Shirley Grundmeyer (the late Arthur), William “Bubby” Huff (Brenda) and Dawn Hartzog (the late Lawrence) and her brother-in-law, Irvin Juneau and his wife, the late Kay Madere Juneau. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, family, employees and her boxer, Tyson. Cathy is a 1969 graduate of Buras High School. Since 1982, she and Al have owned and operated, along with their two sons, Madere & Sons Towing, providing marine services to the Gulf Coast of Louisiana. She was known as “Momma Cat”, by her employees, who she treated as family. She will be remembered as a caring, loving, kind-hearted, and giving person, who was always put the needs of others before her own. She was supportive and generous to local organizations and anyone in need in her community. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Heart of Hospice, especially Kelly and Keisha for the compassionate care given to her. Cathy had a love for animals. Raymond J. “Capt. Peanut” LeBlanc passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Bettie Plaisance LeBlanc for the past 63 years. Father of Tina Bower (the late Scott), Brenda Stanifer (Jim) and the late Susan O’Donnell. Grandfather of Jason Pitre (Ashley), Lindsay Hohle (Jeremy), Lauren Bower (Nilly Liberato), Jessica Pitre and Robert O’Donnell (Jessica Shore). Great grandfather of Carlie Rae and Gabriel Pitre, Kate, Caroline and Camille Hohle, adopted great grandfather of Soffhia and Alex Liberato. Son of the late Edna Bowers LeBlanc and Tillman LeBlanc. Brother of Eddie LeBlanc (Marian), Barbara Liciardi (the late Charles), Marlene White (Wayne) and the late Patsy Murley and Maxine Graffeo. He was a commercial fisherman for most of his life until he and Bettie purchased the Happy Jack Marina. He then became an oyster broker until illness caused him to retire. The family would like to thank Dr. Noel Mills and Dr. Leslie Levenson for extending his life for 43 years. He was a good man and liked by all who knew him. Proud grandfather of Michaela Casbon Pierre, David Casbon, Jr., Taylor Casbon, Payton Bollinger Santos and Cameron Bollinger. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Alfred was born in Ostrica, LA and was a longtime resident of Plaquemines Parish where he enjoyed a long career as a fisherman. His love of being on the water was surpassed only by the love for his grandchildren. He was well loved and affectionately known for his good nature and generous heart. Marion Edward Hinson, of Grove Hill, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at his residence at the age of 57. He was born July 22, 1962 to Marion Ferrill Hinson and Alice Victoria “Vicki” Horton Hinson. He later graduated from Port Sulphur High School in 1980. A minister with the Assemblies of God, he had served as an evangelist in several churches recently but was a member of Magnolia Assembly of God in Grove Hill. He enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing and the University of Alabama football. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Tonya McCreary Hinson; mother, Vicki Horton Hinson; children, Michael Edward (Anna) Hinson, James Luke (Alicia) Hinson, Savannah Hinson (James) Gallagher; grandchildren, Brooklyn Gallagher, Jon Michael Hinson, Ava Gallagher, Canaan Hinson; siblings, Ferrill Nevell Hinson, Alicia J. “Lisa” Hinson Bailey and numerous other relatives and friends. She was a native and lifelong resident of Port Sulphur, LA. Beloved daughter of Eunice Ragas Williams and the late Emmett Williams. Loving mother of Alden (Tenisha), Sharonski (Linda), Coriel (Amber) and Ciara Prout. Adoring grandmother of Sharona, Sharonski Jr., Shylen, Shalyn, King, Brysten, Zayne, Courtney, Kiemonte’ and Darius Prout and Markalia LaFrance. Cherished sister of Emmett (Faith) Williams, Charlotte Turner, Eric (JoAnn) Williams, Elliott (Vanessa) Williams Sr., Paula (Archie) Haygood, Cheyenne (late Kirk) Taylor Sr., Christopher (Gina) Williams, Carlton (Lorraine) Williams, Patricia and John Williams. Henry Eugene Douga, Sr., passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019 at the age of 71. He was born on February 9, 1948 in Oakdale, LA, to John and Dottie Douga. Henry was the third of eight children. He grew up farming, living on various cotton and dairy farms. Just before his nineteenth birthday he moved to Port Sulphur, LA to work for Freeport Sulphur Company. While in Port Sulphur, he met his future wife, Elaine Lalonde. They married July 13, 1968 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. They lived in Port Sulphur until July 1971 when they moved to Lake Charles. There they raised four children before moving to Ragley in the summer of 1988. He worked in the plants for 36 years. He was a very loving husband of 51 years, a father, grandfather, and great – grandfather. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 51 years, Elaine Lalonde Douga; children, Henry Eugene Douga, Jr. “Hank” (Melanie), Jason Douga (Jessica), Melissa Canterbury (Russ), and Jacqueline Broussard (Chad); grandchildren, Brandon Logue (Kelli), Austin Logue, Aron Douga, Myan Broussard, Malena Rose Metcalf and Michael Laturner; great-grandchildren, Ezrah Logue and Beckett Logue; siblings, John Douga, Larry Douga, Sue Smith, Jonette Douga, and Dorothy Cooley; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Joseph Douga and Annie Boullion. Family and friends attended his visitation on Thursday, October 17 and again on Friday, October 18, 2019 before the funeral service took place at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Rev. Ronnie Estes was the officiant. Interment: Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley.

Nancy Holland, a resident of Buras, LA passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019, in Gretna, LA, at the age of 65. She was born on November 27, 1953, in Natchitoches, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents Francis and Lou Ford; and a sister, Wilma Jean Buras. She graduated from NLU with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. She taught school for many years but was also a truck driver for many years. She loved the finer things in life, like flowers, music, and art. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and she will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her children, Allie Boutwell (Tony)and Johnathan Eubanks; a brother George Holland (JoAnne); and a special niece that was a caretaker, Stephanie Buras (Chad)and her daughter Malaysia; her beloved pets, BooBoo, Kink, and Tee’tee; as well as other nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. The funeral service for Nancy will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery near Hagewood, LA.
